I bought a car a few years ago and paid it off, but never received the title. When i tried to get a title they told me that they company still holds the Lien. I have tried to get in touch with the company but cannot find them anymore. i have searched the BBB and Texas State Website, and both say that the company is not in good standing. How do i find out if that company went out of business and if they did, how do i go about getting the Lien taken off of my car?
