What hurts more for a blood test: A Finger Prick or in the Forearm?

I find that when I've donated blood that the finger prick is more stingy than the actual needle in my arm taking the blood out, that stings a bit but only for a moment, I find my finger stings for ages after-wards lol. Don't be scared, you'll be fine.

Well I get blood drawn about every other month to make sure I'm on the right dose of medicine and they always draw it out of the forearm. It doesn't hurt at all, its just a slight pinch and that's it. I don't mind it.
The finger prick hurts because its a really quick puncture and it just hurts more..

Neither are really painful. I've had numerous blood tests in the past, and plenty were in the finger. I suppose that I'm a bit desensitized to the "pain", but all you feel is a little pinch, which stings a little, and then it's done. It's really not that unbearable. It's not like you're being stabbed with a sword or anything. A shot in the forearm barely hurts, but you have a tight rubber thing wrapped around your upper arm which is exceptionally irritating, but it's not painful. Neither are painful, but if I had to choose which was more painful, I'd say that the finger prick is more painful.

defiantly the forearm at least for me anyway
but everyones different with that personally watching someone stab my arm and feeling the bloodcome out freaks me out !!!!!
