what history class is easier to take?

O am really bad with history. I am not good at history? But i have to take a history class for next semester. Which of these would be easier to take. PLEASE.. Im not good with history. its semester course so i have no choice.

History of the United States to 1876 or History of the United States Since 1876.

Which do you think would be easier for me.
 
Prior to 1876, since there were fewer presidencies up to that point you will have less administration to study and more with colonialism historical roots of the country. Studying the individual of policy is not only boring but extremely depressing in most cases.
 
well i would say since 1876 because you are probably most familiar with these events and wont have to memorize as much! good luck!
