Plenty of waterproof gear. The weather is so unpredictable in Scotland that it could rain heavily for days. On the other hand, it could be sunny so you should bring sun protection.
You probably already know this, but it is a good idea to line your backpack with a waterproof bag so your belongings dont get wet. A bin liner would be fine for this.
