What high school sport would benefit...?

I'm stuck between cross country and volleyball. I'm a sprinter, hurdler, and jumper in track and I need to play a fall sport. I enjoy both of them, but I've heard running distance can actually make you a slower sprinter, is that true? Which one would benefit me most, if any?

it will blow your brains out with the absolute amazingness. Best feeling ever, you'll never go back to wimpy volleyball. As for sprinting, not necessarily, because you need speed in XC too. In practices, you should be doing speed workouts and hill workouts, and those will keep you consistently fast. Cross country is where it's at mang.
