What High School sport should I play?

I'm a female that is 15 and about 5 foot and a 1/2 inches and I'm looking to lose weight, and get in shape by playing a sport (I'm about 10 pounds heavier than 150 lbs). The sports that my school offers are Field hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, indoor track, and golf. Some things that I might mention are that I have asthma and I'm slightly flat-footed. It would be much appreciated if you gave real sincere and polite answers if you think this is a waste of space and or time don't bother answering and just go on to the next question thanks for your time :D
My asthma is only brought on by a really nasty cold or if I don't take my medicine for long periods of time ( like 3-5 weeks at a time)

I would recommend playing soccer. I don't know how serious your asthma is, but a lot of kids have asthma and are still easily able to play soccer. If it is really serious asthma, bring your medicine to practice and games and obviously talk with your doctor first before deciding to play.

Soccer is an endurance sport that will certainly help you lose wait. There is a lot of running involved in soccer. You don't necessarily have to be able to run really fast to do well at soccer either and soccer is a fairly easy sport to pick up and learn quickly. It is much easier to learn from the beginning then basketball or softball. I've never done track, but I imagine that the running with that is much more short spurts and intense and might pose more problems for someone with asthma.

Golf will not give you much of a workout unless you choose to run along with it to keep in shape. If your goal is to get in shape, golf is not the answer.

I can't say much about volleyball or field hockey as I have never played them competitively, only for fun, but it does take a lot of hands I skill to play each of those games well and that might be difficult to pick-up as a beginner. Field hockey involves running, so you would probably lose more weight by doing that.

Anyway, my advice: Go with Soccer.
