What has happened to my 2008 honda crf230f?

i went riding yesterday and tipped my bike over going up a muddy hill... before i did this my bike would start in gear if i held the clutch and it would shift if the bike wasnt running but now i cant get it to start in gear and i cant shift unless the bike is going...do i have a wet electrical connection? need master mechanics help
