What has happend to the Pos FORD.. help please.??!?

Ok soo something in my radio made my wires burn in the car and it was very smokie soo josh disconnected all the radio wires and tried to find out what the prob was. We had put in a new radio while back but it was the wires that where connected to the car that started to melt and burn andbreak not the ones from the radio. But once he disconnected the the radio wires from the radio we tried to check to see if it was ok for me to drive home. so we turned the car on and we tried turing it off and it didnt shut off. and we cant figure out the problem. SO the batterie wouldnt shut the car off either so he turned off the electricity thing the thing that starts with an A to shut down the whole car completely. LIKE wtf is the prob. what needs to be done! help please sorry if this is confusing i tried to have it not as confusing aspossible
the thing is i have a 93 tempo and we only put a new radio face in and reconnected all the same wires that where already connected. its like the wires were old. We didnt change or mess up any kinda wiring.
IMMA Girl on joshs thingyy you guys have to explain this stuff to me.. like in girl english please
 
ok basically those ignition switches were shit....they even had a recall on some of them.........so see if ures is under recall....http://www.recalls.gov/

then actually buy the correct wiring harness to hook up the aftermarket radio and install it correctly this time.....
