So last night my car was hit by a person who was hit by a car. back windshield was blown out and back quater panel was busted. he ran into the middle of the street...near a cross walk but did not have the right of way...the car hit him up onto the back of my car causing the damage. police came and took a report but would not let me talk to the couple in the car for the insurance. he said i would get it in the report.
who's at fault? i know the kid who got hit does not have insurance but I always assumed if you hit a person with your car no matter what its your fault meaning the person in the car will pay for my car....help!
