What happens when you jailbreak an Apple TV?

Hi, so the question is what is the good that comes out of a jailbroken Apple Tv box. Is it free movies off iTunes or something totally different. Like what happens when I jailbreak it and also to upload things will i need to ssh or when it is jailbroken I can just do it straight off the TV?
I find it hard to believe that thats the actual Steve Jobs. And yes you do, its all over the internet.
