What happens when we work for 3 months and it count as 2 quarters in Social...

...Security calculation? (in USA)? To get Social Security Benefits, we need to have works at least for 10 years, and that's 40 quarters.

But sometimes, we work for 1.5 years, and the extra few week may count as a quarter. For example, if I work from February 1 to April 30, that is exactly 3 months, but it probably is counted as 2 Quarters, because it is Q1 and Q2. (Jan - Mar = Q1, and Apr to Jun = Q2)

So how does that affect our Social Security calculations (it will count as 2 quarters?), and since our benefit is based on our salary, so will our salary be considered to be quite low if Q1 has partial salary (2/3) and Q2 only has 1/3 of the salary of the full quarter?
