What happens when I get back to my home base for Army National Guard?

I live in Hawaii and I am planning to join the Army National Guard. If I join, I would be gone for 9 weeks for BCT, then another 12 weeks or so for AIT if I get into 91B Light wheeled vehicle mechanic. So after I am done with AIT I believe I will head back to my home and serve for the National Guard there. What will I be doing exactly though, still pursuing my MOS? If I am, will it be a part-time or full-time, and would I be able to go to college and qualify for GI bill?

The Nasty Girls (aka National Guard) serve one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer. What you do on your drill weekend is up to your command. Some units do stuff completely unrelated to the MOS. You will qualify for the GI bill if you pay into it (if it still works that way) or whatever is in your contract when you sign up.
