What happens when a cop approaches a person who is disoriented and starts

describing something that happened? and accidentally incriminates themselves--and they forgot to ask for Miranda rights due to trauma?

Are we now leaving that at the discretion of the cops?

(this post is not an indication of criminal activity or a denial of it, this statement serves to invoke my Miranda rights and to maintain them indefinitely when I post online in yahoo questions and answers)
