What happens if you wait for sex after marriage.. And turn out to...?

And turn out to hate it? What if you find out you are entirely incompatible with the individual you married. I'm talking strictly the Christian tradition here, not abstinence for other reasons. They would, presumably, have been married by the Church.. What is an accepted solution?

I ask this because I find that many people in the abstinence debate like to ignore the fact that this CAN happen. I know of one older man who married a woman, she was a virgin, they had sex ONCE and for the rest of their marriage they never had it again. It was extremely painful and something she found out AFTER marriage to not enjoy.

I understand that "sex doesn't make the marriage", but it is part of a healthy relationship with your spouse. The above mentioned couple got a divorce, but it was extremely frowned upon.. What do others suggest as a solution to this issue?
