First of all, yes you would "last" in jail. You'd adjust and do it one day at a time, just like everybody else that's in there. I was a prison guard for a little over eight years, and I saw people from all walks of life and all ages in there. If you ever have to go in, keep your mouth shut and do your "own time", and stay out of everybody else's business. And never ever snitch. "Snitches get stitches". It's true that sometimes the younger guys have a harder time inside, but they can more often than not, get through it fairly well if they follow what I just said.
Secondly, anybody in their right mind should "never" submit to a polygraph test, and I mean never. Unless of course it's a court ordered condition of probation or parole, but I've never heard of that happening. Polygraph results are not admissable in court, because the results are not 100% reliable. A polygraph can show you to be guilty when you're not, just as it can show you to be innocent when you're not. All those wavy lines on the graph, are interpreted by the person giving the test, and a lot of times people can get things wrong. So stay away from taking a polygraph test, even if you're innocent. And if you want to see something that's "really" interesting, google in "Prof. James Duane" , and watch his short video. Trust me, you'll like it because it's loaded with valuable info.
