I'm joining the Air Force and I ship late March. For the past few months, I have been getting mild hives on my back and chest every time I take a shower. It's not a reaction to any products I'm using, as I get them even if I don't use any shampoo or soap. They will go away after about 30 minutes. I recently started taking some otc antihistamine, and for the most part they are gone now.
I'm worried that when I stop taking the medicine my hives will come back at boot camp. What will happen if they do? Will I be discharged? Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
