What happens if I cant follow a court motion?

My court order says that i need to be the one to drop off my son and pick him up from the visits, but my car broke down. There is no public transportation in my area and I have been carpooling to school. So what happens if i cant go? I asked the father to come pick him up and he said no. He said "get here the same way you get to school"! lol what an ass hole... I told my mediator and he said to file a motion to have it changes if he wont share the driving with me. But that takes 1 month to go to court. What should I do in the meantime? I cant get my car fixed until the end of the month. Please help!
 
You are in contempt of court. When it is due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond your control, judges are more likely to hear legitimate reasons, document specific reasons why you cannot comply with the judges order and attempt to modify the order when you go back to court.
