What happens if a doctor sees cuts on your arm?

I've been cutting myself for a while now, but no adults know. I just realized some time in the near future I'm going to have to go to the doctors for a check up.

What would happen if I went and the doctors saw the cuts (or if I stop, the scars) on my arms? What would the doctor do?
