about six weeks ago i was taking my test to be a lifeguard at a popular waterpark in my town. i had to jump in the water and swim to a person.when i went to jump in my left heel landed before my other foot and caught on the weight and pressure.i felt the pain go up my leg and i felt it give out under me. i couldnt really walk on it but i didnt want to say anything, thinking id ruin my chances of getting the job,so i dealt with it all day thinking it was just a sprain.when it was still hurting 2 weeks later and went and got it looked at and they said it might be a torn muscle and to just stay off it for a while, which i cant really do being a lifeguard.it was starting to feel slighty better this week, until i went to the store and stood on my toes to try and grab something on a high shelf.i heard a very loud cracking sound-like when you crack your back or your knuckles-and its been horribly hurting since then.i dont know what to do for it,and im really sick of it hurting really bad everyday.schools starting soon and im afraid the only way im gonna survive that and working everyday is by using crutches.if anyone could tell me what it might be that i did and what i should do,id really appreciate it. thank you for reading.
