What happened to my VF750 Honda Magna?

First I detected a "Rotten Egg" or "Sulfur" smell as I was driving, then all of a sudden a lose of power and then nothing. I checked the fuses and found a starter fuse to be blown. I changed that but then I had NO power at all what so ever. Could it be my voltage regulator?
 
I may be wrong but based on what you're saying the gear lube may be leaking from the transmission or the transfer case.
