I've been looking for acoustic guitars at my local music shop lately. I play mainly acoustic stuff at the moment, but in the future that my change. I'm looking at a Yamaha FG700s, which came highly recommended, and an Ovation CC24 (I think). They are both 200 USD at the moment, (the ovation is used in great condition). I would use the guitar mainly unplugged, but i would like the opportunity in the future to use an amp. Basically what i want to know, is which is better acoustically.

My guitar teacher used to tell me not to buy a yamaha guitar! I believe in his opinion because he's one of the best guitarist in my area! So, buy the ovation! It's a great guitar!
