What group of muscles are easiest to build?

Well for me it was the arm and leg muscles.

Arms - all you need to get started are free weights. You need to do bicep curls and tricep kickbacks, and rest a few days in between so the muscles grow. You have to do this forever if you want to keep the muscles though, or they will shrink back into nothing.

Legs - even cardio built them up for me because aerobics is a mix of dance, so you use the legs a lot. But to build them up, squats and lunges are perfect, and the best part is that leg muscles are huge muscles so they burn a lot of calories the bigger they are.

It's best to work ALL of the muscles of the body from head to toe for balance.

Good luck and be patient in seeing results. Eat right as well, or you won't see anything.

Smaller muscles are the easiest to build. That said, those smaller muscles "supplement" the larger, stronger ones.

My advice, perform compound exercises such as squats, deads, benchpresses, overhead presses, pullups, rows, and hanging leg raises!

It all depends on your genetics and understanding of how to workout. Google exercises for each muscle group (shoulders, biceps, triceps, pecs, back, and legs) and choose several exercises for each group. Don't just do one or two exercises...that won't sculpt and build you a fabulous body.
