I had this soup a while ago, it was chicken tortilla, it had a greenish vegetable that was chopped up, kind of looked like a jalepeno or a pepper. And NO thats not what is was, there is a name for these I just can not remember and I really want to make soup bc they were good!! So no, not a jalepeno, not a pepper, not squash, not anything obvious. Might be cooked in other soups other than mexican but this is where I had it. And the chef told me the name of the veggie I just cant remember! THanks!
