The protagonist, having been homeschooled for several years because she felt unaccepted at school, is forced to return to high school, where she fears rejection and what people will think of her. The only source of happiness she has been using for the past four years was her imagination, and she continues to use it to feel happy. Soon, she begins to notice that aspects of her imagination have been appearing in her reality, from the pony she wished for when she was six finally being hers to one of the popular girls inviting her to a party. She soon learns from someone in her imagination that the wall between her imagination and reality is weakening, allowing certain things to come through. But this not only leads to temporary happiness, but to more trouble for her. In a nutshell, she eventually learns that she was actually letting her reality affect her imagination, because she was so shaken up by the fact she had to go back to school.

I'm not completely sure if it would fit under a science fiction or fantasy genre, or neither of those. It's not going to be a thriller, and there won't really be much romance until the end of the story.

I'm publishing it on Wattpad, and I'm not sure which genre to list it under, besides "Teen Fiction". Thanks for your help.
