What genre of anime are you more into?

There's two genres of anime I really dig... comedy (of any of the shojo, shonen, or seinen variety, though I tend to dig shojo more... like Azumanga Daioh, Ouran High School Host Club, and Furi Kuri) and the sci-fi/ mech genre (realizing you usually can't have one without the other... I'm pretty stereotypical in this area as well... practically any UC continuity of Mobile Suit Gundam is awesome, though I'm really enjoying Gundam 00, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Getter Robo... etc.)

Loving the fact that the most recent anime I watched, Gurren Lagann, was a combination of both of these interests.
 
I really pretty much like all anime but my favorite right now at this moment are Comedy And martial arts.

I like psychological the most (shows like MONSTER, Paranoia Agent etc), I'll watch pretty much every genre though but psychological is my favourite.
 
Im pretty much just into Shounen (Naruto and Dragon Ball Kai being the only anime I watch at the moment)
The only sports anime I love is Prince of Tennis, and thats just possibly my favourite anime of all time...
Other than that Im a fan of many Ecchi anime or just random and stupid anime (Bokusatsu Tenshi, Puni Puni Poemy, excel saga, etc) Something to give you a good laugh and/or have a bit of a moment where you feel like a perv and an utter disgrace to yourself.
 
I really dont care to much for genres, as i've learned in the past theres a lot of good stories in all genres. But if i have to break it down I guess I really like Action/Drama and Action/Comedy.
 
I like
Comedy - I can buy into anything really, just not stuff thats trying too hard
Romance - Most of the time I like it better paired off with comedy.
Action - I like more of the darker type action stuff, but I do like Gurren Lagann

Anything else is either not in my taste, or something that would be a while for me to get into.
 
i lean towards the darker types of anime. not necessarily gory violent stuff but more of thriller psych type of anime. the kind that makes you think
btw i think inception would make a great anime
 
I like a wide variety of anime.. Mostly along the lines of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.. Then it goes down to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya..
So basically.. I like both Bloody and Adorable anime with a tad of romance and comedy ~
 
I like anything that you have to really stretch your mind to understand. It can cross many genres. For example, Paprika has elements of fantasy, sci-fi, action, and a pretty great love story twist. I like anything that makes my brain bleed, really.
