What general time period (age of absolutism, enlightenment...that sort of thing)...

...did Otto von Bismarck live in? I know Bismarck lived in the 1800s, but my teacher is requiring us to classify the time period in a general time period such as age of absolutism or enlightenment or french revolution that sort of thing but i can't figure out what the 1800s were classified as so if you know thanks so much this would really help
