Where I live there are only 2 types of gasoline, and diesel. The two types are what here are labeled Regular and Supreme. Although really Regular would be the equivalent of the lowest one in the USA, and supreme would be "Regular" in the USA. When I lived in the States, we used to use mostly USA regular and sometimes USA supreme. Although here in Costa Rica I just use CR supreme which would be the equivilant to USA regular.. Now i've changed to CR regular, which would be the lowest one in the USA. Does that cause an impact for the car? Should I invest spending a bit more money on better fuel?
I drive a 1992 mazda miata btw, it's a fast, sports car. I honestly do feel a great difference in acceleration from when I use supreme to when I use regular (CR). It's like with supreme the car accelerates great, it feels immediate, but regular makes it feel a bit heavie and slower to accelerate. Is this damaging my engine?
