Depends on what you want; portable or an at home gaming system. I think PS3 because of the bigger screen and that's just how I roll. They are both relatively the same but Mirrors Edge is a really cutting edge game in the way of graphics and could be much appreciated on the larger screen. Has a kick booty soundtrack too

PS3 is near $350 new and the PSP is around $160 new.
