Im using the .swing package in Java to make a game for my Graduation project for high school. I was curious as to what the quality of the game should be if i put 20-30 hours minimum working time into the game. I don't plan on making something of Halo quality but something like Super Mario Bros. doesn't sound too out of the question. Keep in mind that I'm a high school student who is still learning how to use .swing...
My limit is not set to the 20-30 hour range... I am more than willing to spend enough time to make a fairly impressive game to show to the judges.
