You heard right. You have to mix a certain amount of 2-STROKE oil in with your gas.
On your bike the usual ratio is 32:1 or 4oz of oil per gallon of gas. Or if you prefer metric pour 30ml of oil per liter of gas for a 30:1 ratio.
Make sure to use a quality 2 stroke oil or you will foul the spark plug and gunge up the piston, the head and the exhaust.
