What freshwater fish would go well with my fancy Red Fantailed Goldfish?

Hey, I recently got a Fantailed Goldie and was wondering what fish will go well with him?

Also, this is unrelated, but do African Dwarf Frogs need land inorder to live? I mean, at the fishshop they said they are able to survive without it, but surely being amphibious they must need land...?
