What form of rock would consider the SUM of the bands like Saosin, Senses Fail,

ADTR, Mayday Parade, etc? I am curious what the WHOLE genre or name it would be considered (NOT sub-genre, like hardcore, pop punk, etc.) because it seems like many people out on public who basically only listen to popular artists/bands (like blink-182, Kesha, yknow) and most of them DONT know these bands, but yet they are popular to other people? Please answer this...
