what form does the financial aid office want a copy of?

as far as I knew it was just a copy of the same forms I used to fill out the FAFSA but some lady at the IRS office told me they want the transcripts plus copies are like 57 dollars. do I just make my own copies or am I suppose to send in the transcripts, not the forms?
