I have a 94 5.7 L 350 GM Engine (VH289C34) that I bolted to a 350 turbo trans, I currently have the wrong flywheel ( Z166). It bolts up but the gears don't mesh tight enough between the starter and fly wheel (over an 1/8" off ) and I am eating starters. IT IS NOT A SHIM PROBLEM. The motor was originaly paired with a heavy duty trans for full size van (G30) I am working on a 350 S10 Blazer conversion and this the last problem keeping me from tearing up the streets. Many attempts at various parts dealers have led to hundreds in broken starters. I have concluded the offset of my fly wheel is wrong. I need a GM expert with an exact P/N. What is the correct fly wheel part number?
