Hey everyone. I've used howard forums in the past when I was in Japan and had a Sharp902SH but I lost my account.
Anyway, I now live in Albany, New York and I need to decide (today if possible) on a phone and provider. I was hoping you could help me out. Here are my criteria in order of significance (first is non-negotiable, last is less important):
1-Flip phone (I always scratch it)
2-Decent camera (I had a 2mpix in Japan, I'd like something at least 1.3) with a flash or good light. Most of my pictures are at night.
3-MP3s or other audio codec that doesn't require complicated copyright things.
4-Take SD. This isn't a must, but I already have a 512MB SD card that I'd like to use.
5-Good text message interface. I prefer texting to talking when possible.
6-It would be really nice to have access to google maps or something with maps and directions (GPS not necessary but if it had it I would use it) because I will be travelling throughout the northeast a lot and I have never lived in the region.
7-Price
8-A provider that doesn't suck.
9-Size. The 902SH is a beast and I'm used to it... but it would be nice to have something that didn't bulge out of my pocket.
Thanks for your help!
