I asked the question: "What flavor is cotton candy?" not long ago but I couldnt seem to edit the question after I got a few answers. Here is my true question...
Foods can taste like "apple". Foods can be flavored "apple". An apple is already an apple so therefore it cannot be flavored "apple" or cannot be said to "taste like apple". "Apple" in this case is arbitrary. You could use any food, (These snozberries taste like snozberries!")
