That's pretty expensive gear there! I would have to say, asking what reel is best is like asking which one of your shirts is the best shirt. It's more about what you like, although there are better made reels and more reputable brands. More expensive doesn't mean "the best" all the time. Are you looking at spinning or casting reels? What do you plan to fish for? Look at several reels and pair them up with the rod you want while you're in the store (if you can). A few brands that I use and recommend are Abu Garcia, Daiwa, Pflueger, Shimano, Quantum, and Mitchell. Out of those my Abu Garcia and Pflueger reels are my favorites.
