i have a heater, filter, sea salt and tropical flakes. and a 3 gallon tank. what inexpensive tropical fish should i get?

I think that it you can keep about 2 fish in it. I don't think it is too small being that I have a successful 2.5 gallon tank and I have two zebra danios in it. I would suggest a pair of guppies, neon tetras, or maybe glo danio. They are all colorful and pretty...

Hope this helps...

Just research this fish.... Mangrove Killifish.
Sure it's not the prettiest fish, but the tighter the space, the better it likes it.
You could only keep 1 ... it despises other fish as much as it dislikes space.
One is all you'd need... after researching it,you'll know why.... and would make a very unusual and interesting pet.

None. A 3 gallon tank cannot support life very well.
Betas require a minimum of 5 gallons but most people use very small tanks for them. If anything, id suggest a beta.

That's a pretty tiny tank. I would get a bamboo shrimp or a clam or some snails. Besides, having a bamboo shrimp would be more interesting than a fish, so don't feel bad you can't get one. I love bamboo shrimp; they're really beautiful!

Save up and get a 50 gallon tank if you want fish. It's sort of pointless to get a 10 gallon, very few things can live in it.
