He is mostly grey with blue "sparkles" on his gill covers and a black spot just behind the gills about half the size of his eye. His body is sort of leaf-shaped. Spiky dorsal fin, and "3" shaped tail fin. He is about 4 inches long, I've had him now for 4 months. He is aggressive like a cichlid, holds his own with my Jack Dempsey and African Cichlids. I have a picture, please e-mail if you'd like to see it.
I got him from a Petsmart, he was in with the feeder goldfish, I pointed out that he wasn't a goldfish and they let me have him for free.
