I was fishing off a cannal opening near tampa bay florida, i was mabe 400 yards from the ocean on the cannal, and i cept catching these catfish! I didnt know catfished lived in salt water.
Anyways, it was night time and everytime i casted my cut up lady fish into the water it seems i would get one of these catfish. I fish in this area often and have never caught a catfish, but then again i don't often fish at night. He didnt seem to put up much of a fight at all.
What kind of catfish is this?
