So I have a 55 gal. freshwater tank that is suppose to be cold water but the temperature stabilizes around 75-80 F, currently in it I have a comet (who strangely survived when I hadn't expected it to) and a Ryukin (who sadly seems like he is at the end of his life). While I love the Ryukin breed, I've had so much trouble with it that I don't want another. I was looking into getting maybe a Chichlid, I generally like big fish. But I have a octagon tall tank and I know certain large fish need long instead of tall and I know Chichlids are aggressive, but I want to add another fish or two to my tank. Any advice?
