What film is this?

Years ago, as a kid I saw part of a horror film about a guy that was possessed.

He was a priest and had to be kept locked up and sedated. I think he was kept in a room under a church. Then one guy forgot to give him the drugs and he escaped and went on a rampage.

Any ideas?

In 1992 I was 14 and stayed up late with my cousins to see this. Man I got scared. Seems a bit tame compared to the stuff now. I think I will see if its around on dvd.
