What fashion trend(s) did you tell your children that they could not wear when...

...they were in their teens? For example, I recall telling my sons that bell bottoms pants were not on our shopping list when we went to buy school clothes at Kmart before the school year began. I'm guessing that would be the least of a parent's worries now days!
 
Well, my mom tells me that I'm not allowed to wear just tank tops to school, and if a mini skirt doesn't come with leggings attached its not going on my body...but that's about all I can think of.
