What fall sport should I play? Pretty easy question!?

Ok, here's the deal I'm going into highschool next year and I wanna play sports. Thing is I can't decide which. Here's basic Info:
Pretty Skinny, I weigh 120 and am 5 9, a lot of muscle though.
Lift using a machine 3 times a week, run 17 miles a week
Played basketball and track this year
Don't care about how hard something is I will persevere
.
SO I can play:
Cross Country: I'm good at running, thing is I don't like it very much it's boring. I love competition.
Football: Friends think I should play, I'd play something like an end, pretty fast and very endurable, thing is not sure if I can take a hit good enough. I can get hit in the stomach hard by a football playing friend and recover, that prove anything? Personally I really have a longing to play, a lot of relatives have. Also Freshmen football is perfect if it's your first year.
I can't decide, am I good enough for football? Which Should I join?
 
You weigh 120 pounds. Don't play football, you'll be awful. Cross country's the way to go.
 
I think you should do football, but another thing I think you should try is tennis. It needs strength and agility. It sounds good for you.
