overall flexibility? I'm considering taking Karate lessons and later learn Jeet Kune Do and Kung Fu. I don't want to hear about any opinons or "oh that's stupid learn this instead, it's cooler" nonsense. I'm not asking for what you personally think of these forms. If that was the case then this would be a very different question. Anyway, I notice that in real life and in movies/tv and other media that the practioners have very high kicks. I can understand if its only when you reach a certain advanced level but I also don't want to feel restricted or embarrased by my lack of proper flexibility. I'd prefer some exercises that would actually be common, even practical in this area. As well as coinincide with a healthy life style and is in no way dangerous or hazardous.
