The tank in that video is bigger than 40 gallons, maybe 55? which is the minimum for One Oscar. A 75gal is better.Type of filter isn't important, but get one thats rated for twice the tank size you have. A large HOB or canister filter.I prefer a darker natural gravel, it makes the fish stand out better, but thats personal choice. You will Notice an Oscar no matter what colour the tank is.Feed them ciclid pellets and fresh food like bits of fish, shrimp, crickets etc. They dont need to be fed live food.Oscars are big strong fish, they need good filtration, but the strong current around the tank wont worry them.Ian
