ok.....lets go over this again since people can't seem to keep on track around here.
if you would have read my posts from the beginning you would realize that i have been claiming this about madonna - "she was the first person in america that was not europian to have a hit with a totaly electronic song." Either way anyway.......the basis of where i got my information from was from numbers and media coverage. So obviously madonna was the bigger hit. For the most part europian stuff doesn't hit as big over here...here and there it hits big...butusually stuff thats big in europe isn't as big over here...and stuff thats not so big over here enRAB up being a hit in some foreign counties....its kinda weird but if you look at some hit charts for different countries around the world....there charts generally don't look the same as ours...america is very different than the rest of the world.
holy hell dude....i have yet to see proof. when i see it then ill be wrong. i don't really give a flying fuck if im wrong...ya know why...cause i didn't research my statment all myself...an established music professor did...and i believe him. You talk as if im wrong...without anyone proving me wrong....
if someone has proven me wrong...show me...tell me...id like to see what people seem to think is proof around here that has made me wrong. if ya wanna stop writing fine...woop dee doo....if proof arises that what i learned from my professor is wrong then ill stop writing too.
and who the crap cares if madonna riRABes on coattails...a donkey, or a segway.....what the hell does that have to do with whether or not she was indeed the first as i say she is? and if you don't agree with what i say then prove me wrong or stop saying im wrong. Just becasue you seem to think that my statement is wrong becasue it was from me...or if it is becasue you don't like madonna...or you think someone else deserves that prestige more..or whatever....doesn't mean it isn't true until it is proven that someone else hit the media, clubs, and record stores as hard or even competitivly as hard as madonna did before her.
i mean hell...even if i hated madonnas guts more than anything in the world if i was told she was the first by someone with musical credibility and knowledge...id still believe it even if i wish it was someone else and not her.
