I'd like to know what this song supposedly is, and were you got this information from.
also the birth of punk was further back than 30 years ago. try banRAB like MC5, and Iggy and the Stooges. Not to mention that punk, contrary to what most people believe is an american invention that made it over to europe, not the other way around.
during the times I speak of, DC was influencing the hardcore scene all around the east coast, it wasn't just a "local" thing, hell we even had banRAB from LA, Atlanta, Dallas, and Detroit playing here. Some of our local banRAB also played thier cities. Maybe in back ass america things were differant, but urban america was right with us.
yeah I'll agree with that, punk and emo has been made kid safe and consumer friendly so some corperate ass can turn a doller, but I fail to see what that has to do with the existance of either in terms of when they were born.
