What ever happened to Chrysler's 426 dual overhead cam hemi engine? It was coded

I suspect it suffered the same fate as the Ford 427 SOHC engine - when NASCAR banned them, they no longer presented a viable option for production vehicles. I know there are a few of the Ford SOHC engines still around, but I have never even seen pictures of Chrysler's elusive 426 SOHC hemi engine.
