My favorite helicopter pilot/reporter on SF BayArea CBS5 was Rod Jamieson and chopper dog. Especially alhoa fridays. I emailed the station but they do not respond. Did they go to another station?

He is flying medevac and fighting fires. Don Sharp the operations manager is a back stabber (also know as Teflon Don who ran KRON 4 into the ground) made Rod look bad when he would not fly in poor weather conditions for safety. Also suggested that he was unsafe flying and doing the "Chopper Chat" but what Don did not know was Rod, Glenn and Bo were typically on the ground doing this and Rod had joked a few times while live that they would dub in engine and rotor sounds.
Rod had over 7000 hour of flight time when he came to CBS. He made it look simple. I knew him from the airport. His decisions were professional, safe and prudent. The lack of support from CBS5 was were it ended. He was called on a Sunday and told not to come in anymore. They tried to replace him with three different people but it never worked. Now they don't have anyone as a reporter. What a shame to loose a safe pilot and good talent.
